Embodied Mind
No matter what activity you are into the only way to perform it is through the body. This is obvious when we think about sport but when you are writing on your keyboard you are also using your body. When you are just sitting on a floor and thinking the state of your body is tightly linked with the state of your mind. Your breath is also a movement. A paralyzed person can still communicate with the world because of the working brain which is sustain by the living body. If you can move, you should move. Movement can be fast and impulsive or slow and calm.
Many of us seek balance in life. Balance is a state of equilibrium, but is it like standing still? Right the opposite. We do not function in a vacuum. We are constantly exposed to factors (environment, other people) that can throw us out of balance. You need to move in order to keep your balance, to preserve the direction you want to go and sometimes to fight things that are bringing you down. Movement is an ultimate property of every living thing. Movement is life.
